Start right off this week discussing alcoholic beverages and a wonderful date night. We mix in some zombie talk and images that might remind one of a porno slasher film. We headed out to Arizona for the weekend to celebrate a special birthday with The DaH Theory : MrDaH turned 38! Road trips are awesome and spending a weekend with the DaHonays is even more awesome. Victoria learns a few things and brings us an Awesome List. Oh, and we finally read some comments and notes from our listeners! Yes folks, we know you’re out there and we smell what you’re cookin! 62 minutes in, we’re done!

118: There’ll Always Be A Party In My Hands

We start right off as usual with a beer tasting. Victoria gets right to her redaction of some careless comment she made last week. In return, we make a proposition: I will remove her hand and allow her to attach the hook or appliance of her choice.

There’s some mention of an annoying Subway radio commercial, teens that don’t realize the internet is public and strategizing how we can spend our U.S. stimulus check in Canada. I’m thinking a trip to Ottawa. Victoria has a few less classy ideas. We read a story about one way (of many) that some Australian school employees are better than their American counterparts. We end our show with a topless coffee shop…in Maine. Shit! This one is under 55 minutes. Shortest show in a while.

105: Straw Man!

Rhian from Audiobuzzed joins us for this episode live in our home!

We start the show off discussing keeping her with us always and Canadian provinces before jumping into Rhian’s adventures on her flight out here and her initial impressions of San Diego.

We talk about our first few days this week including dinner at Dublin Square her first night out here, breakfast at Pannikin the first morning and our trip down the coast to see our beaches. Rhian is amazed with palm trees, birds of paradise and our weather. We take her out to one of the beaches in La Jolla, Chuao Chocolatier and of course her first In-N-Out experience which includes the joys of Straw Man. From there is Too Cool For Karaoke in a new location and anticipation for what would happen the rest of the week.

We’re here with the DaHonays! Recording from the DaH Theory studios out in Somewheresville, SW USA, we enjoy some bubbly after a big Texas Tech win over the #1 Longhorns (NOT #1 ANYMORE!)

We start out with some talk about old college days and the early days of the internet before moving on to topics at hand. Those include my first week of unemployment, our weekend with the DaHonays and the Texas Tech game. Add a few articles for fun, stir up a few drinks and chomp on some bacon. This episode was a blast to record! We come in at 1:11:31.6 for those counting at home.

Of course there’s Game of the Week action and Things I Learned From TV. We question the reasoning behind some professional athletes having a pantsless party together, review a recent baby shower we attended which of course leads to a quick discussion on a baby with a rather interesting mutation and detail my new long vacation. Add in an article about connecting beer and religion and all of this gets wrapped up in under 54 minutes.
