155: Wherjews

Starting off the show with a nice hoppy IPA from Scotland. Y’all know how I like my scotch. I also like Scottish Ales. We go into the first of what will be many pot lucks at my new place of employment. That of course leads to some of Victoria’s latest cooking goodies. We also go to the latest Rev concert at the House of Blues and what happens when you mix hillbilly with Motley Crue. Follow that with a Party!Super Party! And you can’t believe the fun that could be had.

Victoria bitches about Geico commercials, read about a wooly bridey and a strange Japanese restaurant centered around paying it forward. There’s football Game of the Week action and guess what happened? It wasn’t a hummer, that’s what it wasn’t! Gimme this, gimme that, call us or email us you know where to go. We just wanna hear from ya. Enjoy this episode in a flat 51 minutes.

151: If The Balloon Pops, The Angels Will Cry

This week we mourn the passing of Patrick Swayze. We’re grateful for what he gave to women’s fantasies everywhere and happy he’s no longer suffering. There’s a recap of week one of the NFL. Lots of sloppy games including our game of the week. We run down a list of rules to see if Victoria is ready to be a true fan of the Bills.

Victoria expresses her distaste for some lyrics and Jessica Simpson loses her dog. Add in an Awesome List, some lessons from TV and our hatred of the latest round of Bud Light inventions (including Bud Light itself) and you’ve got yourself sixty minutes of fun.

Do you agree or disagree with the rules? We wanna hear from the rest of you “true” sports fans. Have you seen Jessica Simpson’s dog? What did you think of this week’s episode. Have any suggestions for future shows? Give us a call at (619) 940-4SEX or email us at uncast.net@gmail.com

146: AIDS and Rubber Gloves Always Win

My sister Rachel visits us for this episode and we discuss her trip out to tour Biola University and it’s two chapels. Don’t worry, they have a gym. Victoria forces us to watch a movie musical which doesn’t suck so bad and I can’t seem to make up my mind as to whether or not I like one of the beers of the week.

We watch a great Padres game and discuss the joy of tequila shots and Padres comebacks. We learn some fundamental rules for Apples to Apples. We have Rachel’s dad over for a visit and we have to censor our game of Scattergories to keep things from getting awkward. Victoria argues against Shark Week and I have to spread my love for it. You get to hear what it sounds like when Victoria realizes early into a debate that she’s wrong.

Victoria introduces us to the geekest sports related event ever. It’s even called a Jamboree. We continue the dork with talk of the Torchwood series “Children of Earth” and a Meatloaf poem. Daniel brings some things he learned from Podcasts this week and Victoria gives good noms. Cooking Time: 1:10:29

140: Icy Dead People

It’s Daniel’s birthday! We discuss a beer tasting party we had last week that included one strong lesson: When doing a beer tasting with 4oz tasters and using beers that are all over 9% ABV and over 90IBU, ten might be a bit too many. Still, we had a BLAST.

We move on to Victoria’s work party, weird dreams, some ideas from listeners and some things we’ve learned from podcasts recently. There’s some sports updates, 25 movie lines you should never quote and Cooking With Victoria. Then the cups of grass…30 Rock is a rip off of the Muppet Show. Eat your heart out!All this in 84:23!

137: AIDS Is Hilarious

There’s a lot going on this week. We start out with a solid trio of beers, including a stout brewed by Satan himself. You know it’s true both from the demon on the bottle and the 16% ABV. We review Game Night at Becky’s place and do a short review of an animated penguin flick from 2007. You guess which one before you listen and see if you’re right at the end.

We get the latest Susan Boyle news, though no one truly cares, and some surprising fact about the Pringles chips we all love so much (or not). We learn about why we stare at freaks, how worms can cure your disease and a recent trend popularized by a local burger chain. We have some letters from listeners, a great TV show Victoria just found and a short bit about music. We end the show with a new segment which should become a constant in the show: RECIPE OF THE WEEK! Thanks to Lil for the idea! You get this show in a robust 62:20, slow roasted to bring out all the best flavors.

Uncast is hosting a Double/Imperial IPA Beer Tasting Friday, June 12th! Email us if you want to attend and be a part of this and let us know which Double/Imperial IPA you’re bringing. 127: Cock Before Cancer

This week starts off with the revelation that Victoria is not Tori Amos. This leads into some American Idol talk. We discuss this Adam dude and the emotionally unstable cult that follows him. This of course leads into Victoria creating a religion that’s not a religion but more of Her Awesome Idea. The only real principles I paid attention to were: Beer is good, bacon is tasty and shirts off/tits out. Oh and of course we’ll start having meetings at Stone as soon as we can figure out what Her Awesome Idea is going to be.

We learn that Hippos are dangerous marblevores and we need more hippovores. Victoria runs through some backstory on 10 Dr Suess books while I discuss Objectum Sexuals on a semi-serious angle and why it scares me that some people take these disturbed individuals seriously. Remember when we first started talking about gay marriage and Christians asked, “what’s next? People will want to marry their TVs or pets.” Well, it’s starting and we need to stop it.

There’s a bit of a H.U.A.R. news as we learn robots now run on human blood and some microscopic ones fly. There’s some more Easter talk, Victoria loves KUSI and we give our book recommendation for the year: “Mr Darcy Takes a Wife” by Linda Berdoll. All this in 1:09:22.

126: Hichinks

Becky joins us for this episode.

We start right off discussing the weekend and things we learned this week including:

- If you applied to UCSD and got accepted, you may want to hold off on sending them one of your own.
- If you live in West Virginia, you may want to hold off on telling that cunt in your AP English class what you plan on doing to her boyfriend.
- Photographing a celebrity wedding is a dangerous way to build your portfolio.
- Fish make terrible footballs

Of course there may have been some mention of this being recorded on Easter weekend, Becky being a Jew and her husband being Asian. Oh and apparently every time Victoria stays at her house over night, I drink myself silly. Yeah there I said it. One hour, 25 minutes of podcast for your ears.

122: Comfort In The Front, Anal In The Back

Victoria and I each bring in more things we learned, there’s talk about things your husband won’t tell you though the headline doesn’t tell us your husband is a father, some states ban beastiality and designer bitch goes mental with a cat. Can you believe this takes two hours to discuss? Enjoy!

104: Obamapalooza!

The election counts are over! We has change!

Victoria and I record a short little something for love and charity and the betterment of all mankind. Obama wins the Presidency, CA hates homosexuals and alternative fuels but loves animals and high-speed trains.

102: Horrific Things I Would Pay To See

We start right off this episode with Sarah Palin trying to make our children retarded. We have cow news, a new segment and Victoria has an awesome list. Of course there’s Game of the Week action and Things I Learned From TV. We question the reasoning behind some professional athletes having a pantsless party together, review a recent baby shower we attended which of course leads to a quick discussion on a baby with a rather interesting mutation and detail my new long vacation. Add in an article about connecting beer and religion and all of this gets wrapped up in under 54 minutes.
